HOPE 2017has been designed taking into account the context of school going children in the targeted district and improve a resourceful learning environment for the children in the respective regions.
Providing school children with necessary school kits is an increasingly powerful tool for improving access to educational information for children in both rural and metro areas. It is an impetus for both social and economic advancement. In order to bridge the gap between North and South and encourage future generation with resourceful learning environment for education, this project focuses to provide necessary school kits to children in the targeted schools in Killinochchi, Batticaloa, Negambo, Hambanthota and Colombo. The project aims to improve learning facilities, empower school children to develop their skills to be competitive and improve the education to relieve feelings of hopelessness, frustration and anger from their current situations.
Target Audience;
Direct Beneficiaries: 1500 children
(Providing school kits in 500 children in Batticaloa, 130 children in Killinochchi, 128 children in Habanthota (Ranna) and 165 Children in Daluwakotuwa (Negambo)
Indirect beneficiaries:
1500 family members (family members of the school children will benefit)

Selected school in Batticaloa, Killinochchi, Hambanthota (Ranna) , Gampaha Daluwakotuwa (Negambo) and Colombo (Rajagiriya) districts.
